Gamble Garden welcomes you to spend a beautiful November morning with us! Explore our unique three-acre garden with garden tours and education for adults and families. Second Saturdays are free and open to all.
FREE ACTIVITIES
All ages:
- Germination Station: Explore seeds sprouting in all stages of growth and view details up close through a microscope.
- Guided Tours: Take a tour of the historic Gamble House and explore the garden with one of our guides
- Scavenger Hunt: Explore the garden independently as you find unique plants and our garden gnome.
- Master Gardeners: Ask the Masters any garden questions! Bring pictures of plant problems and get advice. If bringing any plant material to Gamble Garden, please bring it in a sealed container or bag.
Children:
- Craft Stations: Create seed bracelets and coloring activities
- Storytelling: Join us for stories in the Gamble’s horticultural library
- Field Guide: Complete a field guide on seeds from our Roots & Shoots field trip program (geared towards third graders).
Second Saturday is free and appropriate for all ages. Register for timed entry at 10, 10:30, and 11 AM. Register in advance or at the door. All Second Saturday guests, when you arrive, please check-in at our welcome table in front of the Gamble House.
