When you check in, receive a complimentary map with the names and locations of a dozen of our most prized heritage camellias, including one cultivar dating back to 1695. Don’t miss the fabulous display table exhibiting camellia blooms, courtesy of the San Francisco Peninsula Camellia Society.

Kids will receive a fun Camellia Tracker Game to use on their hunt for the beautiful queen of the winter flowers. Earn a Japanese style sticker when you complete the chart!

Historic House and Horticulture Library Open
Visit Elizabeth Gamble’s historic house with a special display on the amazing story of Japanese Americans who played a pivotal role in hybridizing some of the most prized camellias, still unsurpassed today.
Tea Tasting
Did you know that traditional teas, including black tea, green tea, and white tea, are made from the leaf of a a camellia, the camellia sinensis? Come to Gamble’s tea house to taste these three teas and compare their unique flavors.
