The month of May is a time when we honor mothers and all the important women in our lives. So why not invite these special women to join you in this unique floral design class? Together we will create a beautiful nest centerpiece. Under instructor Katherine Glazier’s guidance, learn how to artfully weave branches, greens, grasses and vines into a botanical nest to fill with colorful seasonal blooms.
We will also discuss how you can adapt this design to further enjoy in other seasons. Come and enjoy some creative time with family and friends.
All floral material and container provided. Please bring your own favorite pair of floral clippers to class.

Instructor Bio
Katherine Glazier is an instructor and floral arranger at Gamble Garden and she co-led the floral design program at Filoli for eight years. She holds a European Master Certification (EMC) and a Teacher’s Diploma in the Sogetsu school of Ikebana. Katherine exhibits at Bouquets to Art at the deYoung Museum and she conducts public floral demonstrations. Seasonal and locally grown material, with an emphasis on the beauty of California floriculture, is showcased in her designs.
