Halloween Children’s Party

Everyone had a frightfully fun time at Gamble’s Children’s Halloween event, held the day before Halloween. Little ghosts and goblins went trick-or-treating around the gardens, posed for photos in the beautiful fall foliage, enjoyed spooky treats, and met a live eagle from the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo.

Harmony Music Ensemble Concert

Music lovers filled the Tea House for last month’s Cinematic Classics concert by the Harmony Music Ensemble. Eight young classical musicians performed a dozen pieces including cinematic favorites from movies such as La La Land, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, as well as Broadway hits from Les Miserables, and Beauty and the Beast.

Halloween Night at Gamble Garden

Gamble opened its doors to trick-or-treaters on Halloween Eve for the first time. Jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins lined the driveway, while the Main House porch was decorated with Halloween-themed floral arrangements and life-sized animatronic monsters. Hoards of little ghosts and goblins came to Gamble and chose between candy or flowers. Kudos to the staff for organizing such a frightfully fun event and introducing a whole new generation to Gamble Garden.
